LARAMIE, Wyo. -- Wyoming is a tough place for visiting teams to play, especially ones in the Top 25.
Hayden Dalton scored seven of his 25 points in the second overtime and Wyoming edged No. 23 Nevada 104-103 on Wednesday night, giving the Cowboys their fifth victory in the last six home games against ranked opponents.
"Coming down the wire, we just had to make plays and we hit some good free throws down the stretch, took care of the ball and did what we needed to do," Dalton said.
Justin James had 33 points and 10 rebounds for the Cowboys (13-7, 4-3 Mountain West) before fouling out in the first overtime.
