A rare October game for the Nevada women’s basketball team turned into a solid blowout win on Sunday.
The Wolf Pack had no trouble with visiting Fresno Pacific, cruising to a 73-49 win in an exhibition game at Lawlor Events Center. Nevada’s Da’Ja Hamilton led the way with 23 points, five rebounds, and four steals.
Nevada forced 23 turnovers, with Hamilton (4), Nia Alexander (3), Amaya West (2) and Kenna Holt (2) each finishing with two or more steals.
Freshman Audrey Roden (West Linn, Ore.) scored 11 points in her Wolf Pack debut.
The Wolf Pack broke the game open with a 21-5 scoring advantage in the third quarter, good for a 55-38 lead heading into the fourth.
