The wave of college basketball cancellations and postponements across the country now includes the Nevada women’s team.
The Wolf Pack’s scheduled games against Boise State (Thursday) and Air Force (Sunday) have been postponed, "Due to COVID-19-related concerns within the Nevada women’s basketball program," the Mountain West said in a statement.
Nevada, winner of 10 of its last 11 games, is now next scheduled to face Fresno State on Jan. 13. The Pack’s next scheduled game at Lawlor Events Center is Jan. 19 against San Diego State.
Thursday’s postponements are the first to hit the Nevada’s women’s program this season.
