The last time Nevada played a game at Wyoming, in 2000, two interesting things happened.
One: Coach Chris Tormey recorded his first win at Nevada. Two: The Wolf Pack was late for the kickoff.
Staying in Cheyenne, about 50 miles from Laramie, the Wolf Pack’s drive to the stadium took 3 hours, 15 minutes thanks to a major accident on I-80, which forced the game to be delayed by an hour.
The trip home after the game wasn’t a picnic, either, as a snow and ice storm closed I-80, causing the team bus to have to go through Fort Collins, Colo.
