When the No. 101 basketball recruit in the 2016 class, Josh Hall, visited Nevada’s campus earlier this month, he was pleasantly surprised at how much he liked Reno, the campus and the Wolf Pack’s arena.
But there was an unexpected surprise that weighed equally in his decision to commit to Nevada.
When Hall was on his visit, the Wolf Pack had broken down all of his high school and AAU stats from the last year and displayed how Nevada would improve those numbers and increase his percentages.
“It was big that they had an analytics guy on staff who broke down my stats,” Hall said.
