One tournament title, two NBA arenas, and two true road games later, the Nevada basketball team finally gets to play again at home this week.
While there’s no truth to the rumor that the Wolf Pack’s staff and players have asked campus security about how to find Lawlor Events Center, there’s no denying the fact that no other ranked team in the country – possibly no other team, period – scheduled itself for six straight games away from home in a 17-day span.
And won all six, too.
Twenty-five days after its most recent home game – a 90-55 thrashing of California Baptist – Nevada will play again at Lawlor on Saturday against South Dakota State.
