Wolf Pack wide receiver Jamaal Bell made quite an impression at the season-ending Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit.
Now, Nevada is counting on Bell making an even quicker ascent into a leadership role as new coach Ken Wilson moves forward with a new look at the receiver position.
Bell, a junior from Lancaster, Calif., caught 14 passes for 119 yards last season. Following a dramatic offseason of coach and player departures, that makes him the Pack’s leading returning pass-catcher at wide receiver/tight end.
He says he’s more than ready to move into a bigger role for the 2022 season.
