The 3,543 fans who came out to Lawlor Events Center on Friday night to watch the Wolf Pack's exhibition game against Alaska were treated to a number of standing-ovation-style plays.
Cameron Oliver had three monster dunks, including one over an opponent. D.J. Fenner outdid him by throwing down a posterizer over an Alaska player who had been chirping at him the entire game. And Oliver and AJ West put on a block party, swatting eight Nanook shots in the 84-53 victory.
But the thing coach Eric Musselman was most pleased with wasn't the highlight-reel plays. The first-year coach was happy with this number: 23.
