The Nevada women’s basketball team had three players honored this week by the Mountain West.
Wolf Pack senior guard Da'Ja Hamilton earned her second straight spot on the All-Mountain West team; guard Audrey Roden was named to the All-Freshman team; and sophomore guard Aly Jimenez earned a place on the conference’s All-Defensive team, the conference announced Sunday.
Hamilton averaged 15.3 points per game in conference games, including 14 games scoring in double digits. She also shot 85.9 percent at the free-throw line.
Hamilton also became the first Wolf Pack player to be named to the All-Mountain West team twice in the conference’s single-team era (Nevada’s Danika Sharp was honored in 2014, and was an honorable mention in 2013, before the MW introduced the single, 10-player team).
