Wolf Pack's Bruce reels in high-level recruiting class

T.J. Bruce got a late start on Nevada’s 2016 recruiting class, but that doesn’t mean it lacks any pop.

Bruce, who was hired in June to replace Jay Johnson, who left for Arizona, has reeled in a high-caliber class that, on paper, ranks among the best the Wolf Pack has landed. The 12-player class, which includes nine prep players and three junior-college transfers, consists of six players who are top-500 recruits in the nation and three players invited to the Area Code games, which is thought to be a Nevada record.

The class, which is heavy on California players, consists of five position players, five pitchers and two two-way players.
