The Nevada women’s basketball team earned the No. 10 seed in this year’s Mountain West Tournament and will face No. 7 Utah State on Monday (4:30 p.m.) at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Utah State (13-16 overall, 8-10 MW) took both regular-season games with the Wolf Pack, winning 79-66 in Reno and 70-55 in Logan, Utah.
Nevada (5-24, 4-14) ended the regular season with four straight losses. The Wolf Pack played without leading scorer Nyasha LeSure for the last three games; her status in uncertain for Monday’s game.
It will be the first meeting between Nevada and Utah State in the MW Tournament.
