Nevada will enter the Mountain West women’s basketball tournament on a roll after capping the regular season with a road win over rival UNLV.
The Wolf Pack dominated the fourth quarter Wednesday night for a 71-64 win over the Rebels, who still clinched their first-ever Mountain West title.
Nevada wrapped up the regular season at 19-10 overall and 11-6 in MW games. The Rebels are 23-6 overall and won the MW title with a 15-3 record, one game ahead of New Mexico.
On Wednesday, Nevada opened the fourth quarter with a 14-4 run, with Nia Alexander scoring nine of her career-high 26 points in the quarter.
