Nevada was on an 11-0 run, Eastern Washington couldn’t hit a shot and Eric Musselman was hyped.
After a high-scoring first half that watched the Wolf Pack trail by two, Nevada opened the second half Monday against EWU with that double-digit spurt before the media timeout a little more than four minutes into the half.
But instead of heading to the team huddle to talk to his team like he typically does, Musselman took a detour toward the middle of the court. He repeatedly waved both arms up and down, working the Lawlor Events Center crowd of 6,053 fans, who were already on their feet, into a fervor.
