For the first time since 2012, the Nevada basketball team will play in the postseason.
The Wolf Pack accepted a berth to the College Basketball Invitational on Sunday and will host Montana at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Lawlor Events Center, marking its first postseason appearance since moving to the MW in 2012-13.
Under first-year coach Eric Musselman, the Wolf Pack (19-13) improved its win total by 10 games this season and won its first MW Tournament game before losing to San Diego State in the semifinals Friday.
After its MW Tournament loss, Musselman said his team would be excited for the opportunity to play in the postseason if invited.
