It was certainly an unprecedented year for Nevada athletics, but it was also one that ended on a high note.
The Wolf Pack finished the 2020-21 athletics year by winning the Silver State Series over rival UNLV for just the second time. Nevada won the annual battle between the state's only major four-year universities, 24-21.
The Pack’s other win in the competition, which awards points based on head-to-head results between the schools across all sports, in 2016-17.
Nevada scored key points with its 37-19 football win on Nevada Day, a sweep of the Rebels by the men’s basketball team, and a series split from the women’s basketball team.
