Coming off of the decision by the Mountain West Board of Directors earlier this week to postpone all fall sports until the spring, the University of Nevada athletic department has restricted spending across the department, and reduced staff resources, the department announced Friday night.
The staff reduction includes more than 20 non-coaching staff members throughout the department.
On Thursday, athletics director Doug Knuth announced that the Wolf Pack is facing a budget deficit of more than $10 million for the current fiscal year.
