It was raining 3-pointers Friday night at Lawlor Events Center, and that was bad news for visiting Pacific.

Nevada hit 15 of its 31 3-point attempts Friday to provide the big difference in an 83-61 win over the Tigers. The Wolf Pack’s 3-point shooting percentage (48.4 percent) actually ended up being better than its overall shooting percentage (44.6 percent).

The convincing win – Pacific’s biggest lead at any time was two points – helped Nevada hold serve in its first week as a top 10 team.
