“I want to end the season with 24 wins and I want to end the season with a win,” Wolf Pack senior Tyron Criswell said.
Those goals are one and the same. If Nevada ends the season with 24 wins, it also will end the season with a win and a College Basketball Invitational title.
That quest begins Wednesday at 7 p.m. when Nevada hosts Montana in the first-round of the 16-team CBI. The Wolf Pack has twice played in this tournament before, hosting first-round games in 2008 (a loss to Houston) and 2009 (a loss to UTEP).
