LOGAN, Utah – As the Wolf Pack returned to the court after the halftime break of its game against Utah State on Saturday afternoon, a rabid Aggies fan shouted to the nearby official.
“Hey,” he yelled. “Can you tell them to stop making every shot?”
The ref did not inform Nevada to take it easy on Utah State, and the result was a 93-87 victory before 5,796 fans at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum that pushed the Wolf Pack one step closer to its second straight Mountain West regular-season championship.
