Wolf Pack notes: Trio of players get first career picks

News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 30-20 win to Hawaii on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.

* Three Wolf Pack players recorded their first career interceptions. CB Elijah Mitchell, a junior, picked off a Hail Mary pass by Hawaii QB Max Wittek to the end the first half. Freshman SS Asauni Rufus grabbed one in the third quarter that led to a field goal. And senior LB Jordan Dobrich snared one in the fourth quarter that led to James Butler’s game-sealing score that put Nevada up 30-20.

“It felt pretty good,” Dobrich said of his interception.
