Freshmen Cameron Oliver and Lindsey Drew and sophomore Elijah Foster each fouled out for the second straight game as Nevada picked up 30 fouls, its second most this season only behind the team’s 38 fouls at Wichita State last week. New Mexico was 29-of-36 from the foul line; Nevada was 22-of-30.
“We talked to the guys today and said at least 15 times we have to defend without fouling,” Nevada coach Eric Musselman said. “But Elijah Brown does a great job of drawing fouls in a unique way.
