News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 23-17 loss to UNLV on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.
* Nevada suffered a deluge of injuries, including one to OLB Bryan Lane Jr., OLB L.J. Jackson, OG Jeremy Macauley and WR Hasaan Henderson, who all exited the game and did not return.
* Lane, who has the most career starts on Nevada’s team, didn’t play after the first series after injuring his left ankle/calf. He was taken for X-rays, which were negative. He has a high ankle sprain, which could keep him out for next week’s game against New Mexico.
