The Wolf Pack baseball team had its five-game winning streak snapped with a 7-5 loss on Wednesday against Dixie State.
Nevada is 8-6 overall and 4-1 in Mountain West games. The Pack trails only UNLV (3-0) in the conference standings.
Infielder Joshua Zamora hit his team-high sixth home run of the season Wednesday against the Trailblazers. Pack starter Boon Fay did not allow a hit until the sixth inning, but did not figure in the decision.
Next up is a return to Mountain West play. Nevada travels to Fresno State (7-10, 1-2) for a three-game series Friday through Sunday.
