Nevada continues to move up in the AP Top 25 national college football poll, although the Wolf Pack still sits outside of the actual first 25 teams.
The Wolf Pack (2-0) received 28 points in the balloting released Sunday, placing ninth among teams in the “others receiving votes” category. Nevada blasted Idaho State on Saturday night, 49-10.
Alabama (2-0) led Sunday’s poll, receiving 60 of the 63 first-place votes. Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Iowa, all 2-0, rounded out the top five.
No. 25 Michigan rounded out the top 25, scoring 163 points.
Fresno State, with two points, was the only Mountain West team to join Nevada in receiving votes in Sunday’s poll.
