Two Wolf Pack scholarship players won’t return next season and a third might be forced to retire.
Offensive guard Joey Anglemire, a starter who has suffered a deluge of injuries in college, has decided to retire and safety Teré Calloway will transfer to FCS team Alabama A&M, coach Brian Polian told the RGJ after Friday’s practice. Offensive guard Adam Khouri (concussion) also might have played his final game.
Anglemire started 10 games as a freshman in 2014 and was penciled in as a starter entering fall camp this year. But a concussion forced him to miss the 2014 New Orleans Bowl and another concussion in fall camp this year made him miss the beginning of the year.
