Wolf Pack grades: Passing marks all around

Grades from the Wolf Pack’s 35-17 win over New Mexico on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.

Offense

B+ — The Wolf Pack began with a punishing rushing attack and then sprinkled in some effective second-half passing in its best offensive performance of the season. Don Jackson and James Butler both had more than 140 yards and Nevada rushed for a season-high 351 yards and averaged 6.5 yards per carry. Tyler Stewart rushed for two touchdowns – of 13 and 10 yards – and passed for 16-of-19 for 166 yards and two touchdowns. His only mistake was a bobbled read-option hand-off that went for a 77-yard New Mexico score.
