LOGAN, Utah – Grades from the Wolf Pack’s 31-27 loss to Utah State on Saturday.
Offense
D — This might be a little strong, but after a good first half, the offense fell apart in the second half. The unit, which scored 20 points (the other seven came on a defensive score), had just 36 yards on its final 28 plays over seven series after James Butler’s 60-yard touchdown run to open the second half. Nevada ran the ball OK (209 yards on 46 carries, good for 4.5 yards per carry), but it couldn’t get anything going in the passing game.
