Wolf Pack grades: Defense, special teams pave way for win

Grades from the Wolf Pack’s 30-20 win over Hawaii on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.

Offense

C+ — Nevada started with three straight three-and-outs and didn’t score on its first five possessions, which included an interception (off a deflected ball) and a turnover on downs. Things got a lot better from there as Nevada scored on six of its last eight possessions (three touchdowns, three field goals). Against a stacked box, Nevada rushed for 244 yards on a season-high 56 carries (4.4 yards per attempt). QB Tyler Stewart went 12-of-23 for 128 yards with a touchdown and interception.
