The Nevada football season is halfway over and the Wolf Pack has had its ups and downs.
If you're a glass-half-empty person, you could point out that the Fremont Cannon no longer resides in Reno after a stunning home loss to UNLV and that the Wolf Pack was manhandled at home by Arizona, a 44-20 defeat in which head coach Brian Polian was tagged with two unsportsmanlike conduct calls.
If you're a glass-half-full person, you could point out Nevada just played its best game of the season, a 35-17 win over New Mexico, its run offense and run defense are improved over last season and the Wolf Pack is still in the thick of the Mountain West's wide-open West Division title race.
