COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nevada went well over a mile high to recapture its early-season form.
Playing at 7,018 feet – signs at Air Force’s Clune Arena playfully warn opposing players to make sure they get enough oxygen – the Wolf Pack turned back the clock and played like it did earlier this season, getting hands in passing lanes, swarming the opposition, thriving in transition and sharing the ball.
That formula, which got Nevada off to an 8-4 start this season, worked against Air Force as the Pack played its best game of the year in an 86-63 drubbing of the Falcons before 1,352 fans.
