New Mexico spoiled Nevada’s senior night game Saturday at Lawlor Events Center and now it’s up to the Wolf Pack to make sure the Lobos don’t spoil its Mountain West Tournament as well.
New Mexico went on a 17-3 run midway through the first half and never looked back. The Lobos’ lead swelled to as many as 20 points before it scored a 71-66 victory to complete a season sweep of Nevada before 7,191 fans Saturday.
The teams will meet in the quarterfinals of the MW Tournament at the Thomas & Mack Center. Nevada (18-12, 10-8) will be the fifth seed against No.
