Grades from the Wolf Pack’s 23-17 loss to UNLV on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.
Offense
D — UNLV loaded the box and the Wolf Pack’s offensive line struggled to get a push all game. Nevada rushed 35 times for 141 yards (4.0 yards per carry) and had no runs longer than 15 yards. The Wolf Pack had horrible field position the entire first half but mustered just five first downs before intermission. Things were better in the second half but Tyler Stewart, who was 20-of-44 for 202 yards, threw a crucial interception returned for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
