Wolf Pack alums looking to 'turn heads' at NFLPA Bowl

You can’t blame Don Jackson if this entire situation is a little surreal.

He’s just a kid from the rough part of Sacramento, a former trouble-maker who turned himself into a college football play-maker. And now he’s fighting to prove he belongs on an NFL roster.

He’s signed with an agent. He’s getting the chance to impress NFL scouts. He’s official a pro.

So, as Jackson, and his former Nevada Wolf Pack teammates Lenny Jones and Ian Seau practice this week for Saturday’s NFLPA Bowl in Carson, Calif., while being coached by some of the best to play their respective positions in recent decades, it’s understandable if Jackson has some “pinch me” moments.
