The Nevada football team doesn’t sell out many games, but this week should be an exception.
The Wolf Pack said Monday afternoon it has distributed all but 4,000 tickets for Saturday’s home game against UNLV. Since 2000, Nevada has sold out seven games (four against Boise State, two against UNLV and one against Cal), but this week’s game, with a 4 p.m. kickoff, is trending toward a sellout.
“I expect a full house,” Wolf Pack coach Brian Polian said. “I’ll be upset if it’s not.”
More than 2,000 students picked up tickets on campus Monday morning, with some showing up Sunday night and camping out for tickets.
