Nevada wrapped up its spring football camp Saturday night with its Battle Born Showdown game, capping five weeks of practice under first-year head coach Ken Wilson.
The scrimmage was played in game-like conditions for the most part, including the use of officials. There were some modifications, most notably a running clock in the second half and a scoring system that allowed the defense to earn points for such things as sacks and three-and-outs.
In the end, the Silver team took a 55-46 win over the Blue.
Here are five takeaways from Nevada’s final team outing before summer camp begins in late July/early August.
