Week in 1,000 Words: A season dedicated to No. 20

Reno Gazette-Journal columnist Chris Murray has been known to be a bit wordy, so we're giving him 1,000 words (no more than that) to share his thoughts from the week that was in the world of sports.

* WHEN THE NEVADA BASEBALL SEASON begins next week, Austin Gorrell won’t be on the field with the Wolf Pack, but he will be in the heart and on the sleeves of his former teammates. Gorrell died in his sleep last October a month after being diagnosed with an enlarged heart. He was a recruited walk-on at Nevada and his medical condition meant he wasn’t able to play with the Wolf Pack as a freshman but would remain a member of the program and be listed on the official roster.
