Two halves, two different results for the Nevada basketball team.
The Wolf Pack shot 60 percent from the field in the first half Thursday at San Francisco, but went on to miss all nine of its 3-point attempts in the second half. In the end, a frantic last few minutes resulted in a 73-70 win for the Dons.
Nevada lost its third straight game to a West Coast Conference opponent and dropped to 1-3 on the season. USF kept its record perfect, at 5-0.
The Dons opened the second half with an 11-0 run, turning a 46-36 deficit into a 47-46 lead.
