College football’s biggest off-season rules change hasn’t begun to play out yet, but it will fundamentally change the way coaching staffs handle their rosters.
And that applies even more for teams like Nevada, which features a high proportion of newcomers to the program.
Beginning this season, a player can play in four games — any four games — and still take a redshirt year, regaining a season of eligibility.
