Ty Gangi beat Hawaii last Saturday with his arm, completing 25-of-32 passes for 278 yards and four touchdowns.
Gangi also beat the Rainbow Warriors with his legs, rushing for 35 yards and a score on six carries.
But the most impressive part of Gangi’s play last weekend, Nevada head coach Jay Norvell said, was the junior's mind.
“One of the beautiful things about our offense is it’s ever-flowing and never rigid,” Norvell said. “One of the great things you saw on Saturday night was a quarterback understand how to change plays and put guys into position to hurt a defense.
