Three takeaways: Nevada's Caleb Martin takes Texas' soul in overtime

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Wolf Pack basketball team beat Texas, 87-83, in overtime on Friday to improve to 28-7 overall. Here are three takeaways from Nevada’s victory.

1. Caleb Martin turns things around

Caleb Martin is the Mountain West player of the year, one of the most talented players in Nevada history and a deadly scorer with supreme confidence. But, Martin struggled leading into NCAA Tournament, shooting 35-of-103 from the field (34 percent), including 16-of-53 from three, in his six games prior to the matchup with Texas.
