Although disappointed with its loss to No. 17/18 Texas A&M last Saturday, Nevada was mostly pleased with its play.
Now, the Wolf Pack faces Buffalo, a Mid-American Conference team with a less impressive résumé but a roster that’s still dangerous. As Nevada has prepped for this game, coach Brian Polian has made it a point to ensure his team shows as much respect to Buffalo as it did Texas A&M.
“We can’t get caught in the trap of, ‘We did some good things against a high-quality opponent on the road last week so automatically things will go the way we want them to,’” he said.
