The San Diego State football team packs a punch.
“Really physical on both sides of the ball,” Wolf Pack coach Brian Polian said.
Polian has tried to model his team in a similar style, so when Nevada plays at SDSU on Saturday in the regular-season finale for both teams, it’s expected to be a hard-hitting, bruising matchup.
After a rough go in non-conference play, when the Aztecs went 1-3, SDSU has been a freight train in the Mountain West, ripping off seven straight wins. The Aztecs (8-3, 7-0) are looking for a perfect league season while Nevada (6-5, 4-3) is looking to bounce back after letting a 20-point lead slip away in a loss at Utah State.
