Three keys for Nevada to beat New Mexico

Wolf Pack defensive end Ian Seau doesn’t mince his message when it comes to the triple-option offense.

“The triple-option sucks,” Seau said a couple of days before Nevada hosts New Mexico on Saturday.

Seau continued to say the offense is difficult to defend “but it’s a lot easier than people think if you don’t bite on the dive, stay detail-oriented and tackle well.” Nevada has struggled against Air Force’s triple-option offense the last three years, allowing 45 points and 392 rushing yards per game.

The New Mexico triple-option is a little different than Air Force’s system.
