St. Mary's beats Nevada baseball, 6-1.

MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary’s broke a scoreless stalemate late to beat Nevada, 6-1, Tuesday at Luis Guisto Field.

Senior Zach Wilkins (2-2) pitched five scoreless innings before running into trouble in the sixth, when the Gaels (9-7) scored two runs. St. Mary’s then followed with four runs in the seventh.

Wilkins struck out three while allowing four hits and two runs.

The Pack fell to 1-7 in road games this season.

Nevada (5-11) was held to a season-low three hits. Sophomore Cole Krzmarzick scored the Pack’s run, while sophomore TJ Friedl added one hit and an RBI.
