The Nevada softball team won its 12th straight game Friday, but then dropped the second game of a doubleheader at Sacramento State on Friday.
Games scores were 3-1 and 8-0.
The 12-game win streak is tied for the second-longest in program history, and is the Pack’s longest since 2009. The Wolf Pack improved to 14-3.
Freshman Brooke Bolinger (6-1) went the distance for a second straight start and did not allow an earned run. Aaliyah Gibson went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI, while senior Megan Sweet picked up two hits, including an RBI triple.
