After going 2-0 on its first day at the Kajikawa Classic on Friday in Tempe, Ariz., the Nevada softball team dropped a pair of games Saturday to Wisconsin, 3-2, and Boston College, 8-1.
Aaliyah Gibson had another strong day, going 4-for-6 with two runs scored and an RBI for the Wolf Pack (2-2).
After starting in Nevada’s first victory against Bradley on Friday, freshman Brooke Bolinger put the Pack in position to win against the Badgers, throwing five innings and allowing only one earned run.
The Pack wraps up its opening weekend Sunday against East Carolina.
