The Nevada softball team finished its 2021 season by winning its final three series and placing five players onto the All-Mountain West teams.
Senior outfielder Sadaria McAlister and freshman outfielder Chelie Senini were named to the All-MW first team; senior catcher Haley Burda, sophomore pitcher Kendall Fritz and freshman infielder Sam Oliver earned second-team honors.
The Wolf Pack finished at 24-16 overall and 16-8 in Mountain West games, good for third place in the final conference standings behind Fresno State (20-4) and UNLV (17-7). The Bulldogs, at 36-10 overall, are the MW’s automatic entry into the 64-team NCAA tournament, which begins later this week.
