A late game-tying goal in regulation from Air Force forced overtime, and the Falcons and Nevada eventually finished with a 2-2 double-overtime tie Sunday at Mackay Stadium.
After a scoreless opening half, a flurry of goals were notched in the second half between the Falcons (3-6-1 overall, 1-0-1 MW) and Wolf Pack (3-5-2, 0-1-1 MW). It was Nevada which broke through first, getting a goal in the 50th minute from freshman Hannah Miller, who headed in her second goal of the season off of a corner kick from Lindsey Salcido.
In all, there were 30 shots taken (15 apiece), 22 fouls and four yellow cards.
