The Mountain West football media summit will be held Tuesday and Wednesday in Las Vegas, with the conference’s commissioner, Craig Thompson, holding his unofficial “state of the MW” address in addition to a coaches’ roundtable and player interviews. 1. The TV deal
The MW’s media rights deal runs through the 2019-20 season but is up for renegotiation in about 6 months. The conference has been planning for this moment for multiple years, and a league’s media rights deal is a huge source of revenue.
