Before every game the Wolf Pack plays, coach Eric Musselman gives him team “Sesame Street rules.”
Those Sesame Street rules are basically two or three basic things the team has to do against the given opponent, and if the Wolf Pack accomplishes those things it will almost surely win the game.
The Sesame Street rules against Nevada’s next opponent, San Jose State, has been simple in past years: Just show up and don’t play a horrible game. The Spartans entered this season 1-35 all-time in Mountain West play, including a 33-game winless stretch against Division I opponents.
